Introduction

Diogenes of Cinopy was an enigmatic Greek philosopher. His biography is based almost entirely on apocryphal stories. It appears that he didn't write down any of his own philosophy. He sometimes credited with inventing the word cosmopolitan, relating to being a citizen of the world.
