Camping and Bears Sense of Smell
In 2018, a family just outside of kung-wing China adopted a Tibetan Mastiff puppy while on vacation. When it started walking on its hind legs, the family was like, Oh, maybe this is a bear. And then the critter was, yes, a bear, an Asiatic Black Bear and it's now living at the Yunnan Wildlife Rescue Center. They are attracted to any unusual smell, even the smell of plastics or petroleum-based products,. So whenever you're camping, you definitely make sure you don't have anything stinky or even slightly scented in your tent.
