The vessel in which the flesh is cooked must be of brass, or at the very least ornamented with brass rings. One of the men must go to the tent to see whether any of the women has caused the trouble by unsuitable behaviour. Should nothing blameworthy be found there, the chief person of the gathering tries to stop the gravy from boiling over and singing to it. I don't know how this would hold up to more modern scrutiny - but these are interesting reports.
