Is Problem Solving a Good Idea?
I used to see problem solving as more of a general generic skill than I do now in terms of children having success in answering aid questions. Problem solving is easier when certain behaviours come naturally to you and whether or not, I'm thinking about parallels between comprehension and reading and mathematics. In Sephara's it builds children more powerfully there, self-perception of themselves as a musician, and of maths as a subject. And for children being able to identify the different emotional responses that we have when we engage in math would be an important part of their learning process.
