The Importance of Confidence in Pain

I think I often come from a place of empathy towards the person experiencing the pain, knowing it's them experiencing it and therefore they are also dealing with all of the fear that comes with that pain experience. So maybe there aren't strict rights, rights or wrongs as much as there is a need to co collaborate with our patients. There's a big difference between saying to a patient, I know that this is what's happening with your brain and your body. So just to believe me and be confident like I am versus how would it feel to hear some of my thoughts here? How can we work together to create a broader sense of hope and confidence.
