The Importance of Recognizing Jesus as God

The main thing is if we don't recognize Jesus as God, we don't see him as one to be worshipped. When Jesus rose from the dead and he appeared to the Pharisees, Thomas wasn't there. And so Jesus is desiring for those who have not seen the nails in his hands or the holes in his feet to still read his word and to worship him as such. If you don't understand all the ways in which God has come to reveal themselves to the world, you run the risk of putting your faith in a God that cannot save you.
