The grief you feel is equal to the love you had. Depth of the grief is because you love so deeply. And as you can see, dear one, grief comes in waves. There's this loss, and a new wave of grief comes. It just feels that it was an unbearable loss and that you'll never get over it. In a funny way, like my dog, the lady bird, passed a few months ago too - i felt like an anvil had dropped on me. I think grieving is how we grow. Grieving is a crucible but gets burnt off in the process. The last thing i want to add is that the culture tells you certain things about grief
