I really enjoyed my time in in the US I mean I've always visited the US and enjoyed ACR conferences. The drive behind going to Texas to the MD Anson Cancer Center was partly driven by the fact that we didn't have any good pre-clinical or animal mouse models for systemic sclerosis at the time. We were able to develop mouse models that much better replicated systemic sclerosis than conventional ones, he says. He also had a great time fully getting immersed into the American but also the the Texan culture barbecue and rodeo.
