The Importance of Distance Management in Jujitsu
In jujitsu, one of the first things you learn is distance management. So if he's a traditional guy, he doesn't know how to take, manage the takedown. Knowing how to manage the takedown makes your strikes more effective. You controlling the fight as much as jujitsu does,. even if you're not that high level versus the guy who doesn't know jujitsu way outweighs this grossly.
