Mark Wetton spent a bit of time in Melbourne over the summer break. He was fascinated to see our state one of the sort of first churches, the Methodist. The Industrial Revolution was kicking off globalisation and people were moving all around the world. So he had to respond how do you bring back what he saw as the essence of the early church but doing that in a contemporary 18th century culture way which responded to cultural changes.
