Is It Important to Write Out Interventions in Progress Notes?

I think it might be really useful for clients to have the language to say, I prefer more structured take home interventions. Like I prefer something that is more obvious and concrete as opposed to interventions that are more amorphous and vague and stance oriented. The reason why there's such an emphasis on writing out your interventions in your progress notes is to prove that you're doing something. It doesn't necessarily mean choosing a theory of therapy will be more effective than other therapies. And if you want to feel more like a therapist, at least personally, I feel more like one when I'm doing these kinds of things.
