Is There Any Use in Bulking?

Sylvester Stallone got out of shape for the first time in his entire adult life to play a role. "I don't think there's a lot of inherent utility in telling someone how frequently to bulk," he says. If you're going to bulk, plan it out such that you're never bulking for less than at the absolute bare minimum a month at a time. Set your endpoints accordingly and be realistic about how rapidly you could add muscle tissue.
