The Importance of Living Your Way
If you don't live the father's way, your eternal reward will be whatever place you can make for yourself. Jesus met with him right before Gethsemane. He needs them to understand his role. He is the vine. And they're never going to succeed in where they need to go unless we abide in him and follow his way. So there's theme number two. Now theme number three was a major deal to John. It will be the main topic that John writes about pretty much for the rest of his life.
