The Importance of Resistance Training
All of the extreme exercise in you described was more on the side of cardiovascular fitness and endurance. And I know that resistance training is increasingly essential to how you conceive of what people need to do to stay healthy. Were you doing a lot of resistance training in addition to all the endurance stuff when you were younger? Or did that come later? No, I actually did. Even when he was young, I powerlifted when I was in high school and was, I mean, infinitely stronger than I am today.
