He attributed everything from compartmentalization of in business to the modern army, andi an actual convulsive changesthe political historyof europe. After print comes privacy. You didn't need privacy before print. You you need privacy t read print and many other things of that sort. And he carried this insight forward into the era of television. A print is a medium that intensifies the visual perception, and at the expense of all the other senses. This is his theory. O, these are things that really cannot be proven one way or another yet.
