Why Did Lewis Come to Believe in God?
Lewis came to believe in God before he sort of became specifically a Christian. He talks about God shooting arrows of joy to create the sense of emptiness and longing for something that really satisfies. Lewis is very careful to say it wasn't that I wanted to discover God. It was rather God drew near to me and imposed himself upon me.
