Is There a Disparity in the ICU?
Study found that black patients had worst outcomes in intensive care unit. Black patients were going to hospitals that primarily cared for other black patients. Study looked at cardia arrest outcomes, and it largely got explained by hospital type. What is it about those hospitals that provide that lower quality of care? That's something that i think we need further research on.
