In an autocratic environment, everyone's rolls are clear and everyone has direction. The bad thing about this is it can also lead to a lot of turnover. If you have young people working for you, in my opinion, people in their twenties are like, highly, highly alergic right now to autocratic styles. Probably need some autocratic styles to learn the skills and to get the chops,. but don't like them.
