Is There a Moral Logic in Capitalism?
Capitalism has a moral logic, but doesn't it run contrary to the logic of inheritance that we're talking about? I mean, if capitalism is all about getting rewarded for one's own entrepolership, for risk taking, isn't that undermined by somepeople knowing that theyare starting so far ahead? i would say it's one of capitalism's defining characteristics that it is contradictory. And its moral logic, such as it is, is certainly so, right? So, i think you're absolutely right.
