Best practice says that you should always state the name of the language you're working on, even if it's just English. This came about this is a soapbox that I've been carrying around and periodically climbing up on since about 2009. And part of it is, it's kind of a face threatening question to ask, right? It's a stupid question to ask because it's obviously English. So it's also a little bit rude to them, right,. To ask this question that says you should have said. Say what it is first.
