I also found the writing of Wayne to be a little bit jarring where he almost seemed to be a character of himself in this book at certain points. I think that's in part because of Wayne's story overall, which is self-doubt. Maybe just because we'll we get more parts from his perspective too. You also have the problem of the copycat.
