Does E M D R Work Better Than Nothing?

i'm going to approach this really quickly with my sceptical hat, but also with my pschologist hat. i am in the process of co editing a volume about pseudo science in therapy. Number one, the evidence base shows that people who get at e m d r have better outcomes than people who don't get therapy. But from where i'm sitting and a lot of people who, i think it was rosan who dubbed this a purple hat therapy, did you come across that staion? I love this. Right? The idea, is is it the e m dr?
