The Importance of Reasoning Footprint in Software Development

Shayne: I think everyone approaches engineering, software development differently. What I feel comfortable with is different from what others feel comfortable with even though they're wrong. The reasoning footprint is the amount of knowledge you need to hold in your head to understand a certain piece of code. If you can keep that level low without being too boilerplatey, then yeah, go for it. There's this very small tipping point in which it can even be like, perfectly fine, right?
