Differential Privacy

Zoom is a weekly technology show on BBC Radio 4. This week, Jarrett looks at the idea of differential privacy. It allows people to learn statistical properties of a set of people with high accuracy without being able to tell anything about any individual. But it doesn't imply that you can't know anything about individual individuals. The next few minutes will look at how this works in practice.
