The Origins of Iceberg

The real reason behind the spec being the winner is that basically iceberg was initially just a couple like Trino, Spark and flink. And so it's a dialogue around how this spec grows that was very appealing to me. That caught on over time. You start seeing more frequently today, if you go to the iceberg website, there's like, you know, a boatload more of engines like Star Rocks or Dremio.
