I wouldn't dissuade people from doing it. Possibly so I think if you intend to be the main manager or the main financial planner for your household. It's not a bad use of time and money. The thing that I encountered in the CFP program was that there are a lot of people who were just sort of in the program to actually get the credentials they really just wanted to pass the test. So my guess is that people going through the program may encounter a little bit of that where their classmates may be very attuned to just kind of earning those credentials and getting in and getting out.
