Prigorshin Is Not Putin's Confidant
Prigorshin is not one of Putin's close figures or a confidant. He has more direct contact with the boss than he did in the past, but that's frankly the nature of the war and the fact that Wagner is playing a significant role. Prigorshin does what the Kremlin wants and does very well for himself in the process,. But that's the thing. He is part of the staff rather than part of the family.
