When I Died, Then Bury Me in My Loved Ukraine
He wanted to marry a Ukrainian peasant girl, former serf. Her name was Lekera. But she betrayed him with this teacher. And so now he died in Petersburg. After his exile, he lived only a few years and he died in 1861, age 47. His friends organized the re-bearing of his body from Petersburg to Ukraine. Now he's buried in Ukraine in Kanyu.
