When i was training, you become a psychiatrist, i they asked us a question. Said, if a patient walks into your office and says, can you help me find a girl friend? What should your answer be? There were a lot of right answers, but there was just one wrong answer. And that's what we trained to do stherapis the one wrong answer is yes. We are taught as therapists that an outcome for a patient is not our responsibility. Something i lost a little bit of faith in therapy that day.
