How to Quantify the Combination of Human and Machine
Idea would be levels of what the human can achieve together with a car. Not sure how that would be quantified, but some notion that human and car together in this situation can achieve this level of safety. In humans it's very hard because we have such wide variability. So i not to model humans per the mean human. The average human cazette doesn't really tell you anything. What we really look at is the boundaries of human performance,. And in a car, you have to assume that a person is not paying attention. That is the worst state that the human can be in.
