The Objection to Objectivism

This is actually my favorite objection to objectivism. It accurately describes a position that moral obligation is based in choice. He's trying to integrate the fundamental choice with other claims ran makes about the nature of value. And he can't integrate the two in a way that doesn't result in a contradiction. So, all the makings of a strong strong philosophical objection. We take it that if we're saying a choice is the right choice or reasonable choice there must be some kind of rational motivation behind it. Now, why think that to choose something as arbitrary subjective basis? Well, so again it's not exactly choosing per se that makes something arbitrary but choosing without reason.
