What Do You Learn From a Patient With COVID-19?
A 55 year old woman who presents with the past mental history of COVID-19 twice and colonic polyps and really nothing else presented after three days of acute onset double vision. She pretty much woke up three days ago with double vision, just in the morning. It's just kind of how it started and hasn't resolved since. The next day she noticed that she felt mildly unsteady on her feet and that she was having difficulty controlling her arms and hands. These new coordination symptoms, additions to her symptoms are what prompted her to come to the emergency department after the diplopia.
