You Know What I Love About This Church?
If you're new to a church, especially and you've just gotten to the point where you've done step number one, you think you have a pretty decent understanding of the culture. If you then go to the leadership and say, this church is a mess, you will meet resistance. But if you tell them what you love about it - don't be faked. Don't make it up. I but genuinely fine, good things about the culture that you can show a genuine expression of appreciation for.
