A Feminist Reading by Victoria Grace

A jean bade jean baudier's work has had a turbulent relationship with feminist thought. In this essay, i challenge graces faith in beaudiard's work to wrest feminist thought from the clutches of hyper reality. Conversely, i argue that grace's lionization of baudiard's theories as a panicea or as a cural to the problems facing contemporary society is itself a replication of the very model of hyper reality that she and beaudiard decries.
