I want you to talk about abandonment. I made a conscious decision to never abandon you or Mariah your mom, right and It's very hard to break generational patterns The reality is both me and your mom should have left She has a history where of brokenness and abandonment and dysfunction. And so I had to make a decision that even if I couldn't be the best dad in the world I was going to be the present dad like I was never going to leave.
