Harry Potter

I wasn't introduced to Harry Potter until very recently, over the past year. So I went on a movie marathon and watched the eight films when my cousin gave me the DVD box set of the movies. And I thought to myself, I would have really enjoyed this when I was little. It's something I would have absolutely had up. But I didn't, I kind of laid it off for that long. What do parents in your opinion need to know before their kids watch it? There are scenes of my old thread, including a scene where a boy falls into a snake pit - but none of these scenes are upsetting.
