When I first wrote The 48 Laws of Power, I was trying to think, what is my voice here? You know, because a book has to have a voice and if you don't have a voice, it's gonna fail miserably. And it slowly came about through trial and error, but it was kind of this voice of God. So the book has a sort of a voice of authority, like I know what I'm talking about.
