You Can't Come Off Like You No More Than They Do

Social media has almost single handedly ruined our ability to communicate with each other effectively. If you really, really want to have that conversation with your your brother in law, either pick up the phone, not my preferred method, but have the conversation in person. Don't do it on mind. That's only going to make the situation worse,. People don't want you to be their teacher. You can't come off like you no more than they do. They want you to see them as being in the now and having it all figured out. And it's all ego.
