The Importance of Blood Pressure Readings at Prenatal Visits

In 2023, the US Preventive Service Task Force made a mind-blowing recommendation. They stated that clinicians should screen for hypertensive disorders of pregnancy at each prenatal visit. A new publication said to be released next month in the Grey Journal actually validates that recommendation. Should we be sticking with 140 over 90 or should we be changing it to what the AHA calls class one hypertension?
