I think a turning point from me came strangely enough about a year after I came to the United States. They gave me, it was in the suburbs of New York and they gave me a room in a dorm. So I thought I was on top of the world. Then I came down with a cold, a nasty cold. And so I realized that back in the old country, I grew up in this successful family. If I turned out to be a total bum, they would be chewing my ear off. But I would still have a roof over my head and three squares a day, all his life. And here I was in America. I didn't have a single relative here.
