The Interest Rate Conundrum

Interest rates rise and fall in decades long intervals. By 1981, the long dated treasury that is now not even 4% was then 15% for a nonce. People who would grown up in that 35 year period, 1946 to 81 had never seen interest rates fall. So people had had 35 or more years of conditioning that rates only go up,. inflation is endemic, systemic systemic.
