The Story of a Child Abandoned
Pumpkin was abandoned at Southern Cross Station in 2007. CCTV footage showed her walking hand-in-hand with a middle-aged man. He then turned and walked up an escalator alone, leaving Pumpkin to stand by herself. The police took the girl into their care but no one came forward to claim her.
