Reshaping Streets - What's Next?

Currently, for example, if we want to put in a bus shelter so people have protection from the wind and rain when they're waiting for a bus, a council would have to run a specific consultation process. This is going to bring it in line with regular consultation that's required on other changes in our streets. It's very similar for pedestrian malls. Currently, using the legislation we have available, they are challenging to do and take a really long time to do. So reshaping streets is a proposal, a package of things that could be done to accelerate this process. And another great one that's close to my heart is around play streets.
