How Much New Money Is Printed Every Year?

Counterfeiting is when people try to make fake money and use it. Countries are very careful with how they mint money because counterfeiting is a widespread crime. In two thousand and 20 the united states treasury printed over one million 100 dollar bills and around two and a half billion one dollar bills. Whenever new money is printed, the United States treasury is always trying to develop new ways to stop counterfeiters.
