The Importance of Isaiah 53
Jeremiah basically lived at the time of the downfall of Israel. The context of the servant of the Lord is this future messianic exodus. Unlike Jeremiah, he actually is despised and rejected by his own people. So there's no redemption in the end of the wrath of Jeremiah's persecution.
