The show's creator knew that he was making an emotional story about ruin. He showed season after season, the depths of tony's soprano. The people kept cheering for him. They were rooting for him. I think what's really thrilling and interesting for me is this idea that i think true works of art last. And we are seeing now, 20 years on, the show still is relevant. It still alive, and it still has something to sa right now,. particularly circling all the way back to what you said about just decline. That like they, there were things that david chase was tapped into whether he was drawing from his own experiences in hollywood or his generally bleak outlook
