Only in cats can toxoplasmagondii complete its life cycle because once a cat eats those bradyzoites that are in the brain or muscle tissue inside the cat, they actually undergo sexual replication. The parasite has to find its way back to the cat. So there's a huge amount of incentive on the part of the parasite to make sure that they make it into the cat. That being said, what about humans? Yeah. We're not contributing to the parasite life cycle and the prevalence. Unless a cat ate us. Which does happen? Could happen. And historically. Mm-hmm. For sure.
