Freud's theory developed in much more sudden jumps. Jungkah does very slowly. When he speaks about collective unconscious, he really means two things. He means on the one hand, the collectivity of impulse and concern of all human beings because they all have the same human body. These are often interplay. Also the experience of daylight life and the night experience in dream. There is a general common base, and that is what he was talking about as the collective unconscious.
