The Latent Variable

When we say latent variable, one part of it is that it's variable. That means that there are individual differences on it and you can't see them. Sometimes a variable is latent because we just don't have the technology to be able to access that thing. You can think about gravity as a latent variable. We believe it to exist but at least using technology at this time, we can't directly evaluate that.
