The Basics of Microscrapes and Telescopes

The basic idea behind microscrapes and telescopes is that if you put an object really close to a convex lens that is inside the focal length you get an enlarged virtual image. The trouble with that though is it's often very difficult to put a real objectreally close to the lens especially if the lens is very large or light years away. So we use a trick instead of putting the real object right in front of the convex lens we form an image of the real object that's at that same place.
